About Us

Our story:

Camping Istas’ Garden, which opened in March 2019, is a family campsite created by us, Cláudia and Pedro, a Portuguese couple with a passion for camping. When we built the house, we decided to turn the garden into a small campsite, offering an open-air hotel experience combined with wine tourism.

The park is equipped with drinkable water, electricity (16A), a barbecue, a dumping area, toilets, showers with hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and dryer, free Wi-Fi and a heated indoor swimming pool. Our space guarantees a comfortable and accessible stay for everyone.

Dedicated to wine tourism, we occasionally offer wine tastings from the Douro and Vinho Verde regions. Our mission is to provide a unique outdoor and wine tourism experience, combining comfort, accessibility and nature.

Sustainability – We promote recycling, the responsible use of water and ecological practices to minimise environmental impact.

Accessibility – We have inclusive facilities to ensure a comfortable and accessible stay for everyone.

Friends of animals – Pets are welcome. We just ask that owners ensure that their pets’ needs are met outside the campsite, respecting cleanliness, and that they are always close to their owners (on a leash) for everyone’s well-being.

Respect for nature – We value and protect the environment, encouraging the preservation of gardens and natural spaces.
